Kristen Anne Bell is an American singer and actress born in the year 1980. Parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier, both television news directors. Her family was birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen is of Polish descent (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen realized her potential in the world of entertainment at a young age. She was just 12 when she went to her first audition. She was successful and got a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent before she was 13 and she was subsequently cast in television advertisements for newspapers and commercials. Additionally, she began to take classes in acting privately. Bell was credited as a character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the musical and drama clubs. She was the star of Dorothy at her school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went on to study music theatre in the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 and began playing the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credits in Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. However, her scene cut, and Bell's only role is the final credits. Bell appeared featured in the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
